Underrated is because of warranty issues, over rated is because its so cheap, you'll just buy another one if something happens.

I think most companies now under rate their amps because it causes people to go crazy when they see a 3500w amp doing 4000w. I dont understand how the wattage rating on an amp has anything to do with a warranty.I would think the rated ohm load is where that would come into play.Can't rate a amp at .5ohms and expect to not have a shitload of warranty claims

I think it's because nothing is ever "good enough". Like my setup, I know it's not up there. I'm surprised I have flex period. I show and "I had more flex" "That's nothing" etc. Cool? Just stating/showing I have flex, which surprised me.

i tried to tell people but it fell on deaf ears sadly... an alt is not something to cheap out not only is it the life force of your system but it also runs your car.. it breaks down you're stranded unless you have some baller ass batteries to get home on
