    I think AWG sizes are as follows, True Stranded AWG Size ID" IDmm 1/0 0.406 10.3124 2/0 0.461 11.7094 3/0 0.512 13.0048 4/0 0.591 15.0114 SkyHighCarAudio 1/0 0.53 13.5 SkyHighCarAudio 2/0 0.63 16 If that's accurate, the SHCA 2/0 should be >4/0 sized with the SHCA 1/0 being about 3/0 awg. I'm guessing anyone running welding cable would be closer to the true AWG standard sizes, car audio sizes are very unregulated thanks for the update big ben

    I asked Tony D a while back if this type of testing would work with the Dyno and he told me Steve asked him the same thing (great minds think alike). It's a very cool way to do Dyno testing....more fun for the viewer as it's like a race to see who has the most wattage! My power supply is good for about 320A at 14V, so I can't test two big amps...maybe in the future I'll have it beefed up. Would be cool to see the OS 250x2 amps such as the Orion XTR-2250/Lanzar Optidrive 500/HiFonics Zeus VII / etc. go head to head... Hells yes man... Get Steve to send you some bank,... and lets have some HIGH NOON show downs.... hell ya ! Great idea man..... well done sir !

    I don't know that they don't. The only reason the DD-1 wouldn't work on any amplifier would be if the amplifier was always putting out more than 1% distortion at any volume or gain setting.
