Anymore, neighbors are worthless (most of the time). Reminds me of the time I had some dude break into my tahoe in my driveway. He took off when I came outside, but the next morning when I went to all the other tenants in the unit to give them a heads up to keep an eye out for their shit, all but a few seemed to give a shit, and most just seemed bothered I knocked on their door...no wonder shit like this happens, people are too scared to step up.

This is why i will never live in an apartment complex again, had a h/u stolen and a few seconds from having the car jacked, but as i came out from the apartment they seen me and ran. Needless to say i called off work and went straight to the audio shop and had an alarm put in it, and had to replace the ignition and steering column they had broken to try and steal the car. After i went to the police station to make a report the police really did nothing about it and over the course of a few weeks you would see cars jacked up and the tires and rims removed from cars throughout the complex as you went through it.

I live in i would say the country.....this may sound racist but its not intended... Most of my neighbors are white and when i moved in most of them where like WTF? But my land lady lives maybe to acres away from me... So one day i some funny shit at her house so i went to investigate and i guess the other neighbors saw a mexican guy which was me checking out her house and 2 of them came to see WTF i was doing. As soon as they realized who i was and what i was doing everything from that day forward has been cool..... Been here about a year and we all look out for eachother.... But on a funny note one of the older white guys said jokingly to me now if i see a mexican in or around my place i hope its not you cause i shoot first then call the cops...... He said if that ever happens to wear a white shirt that says i love OLD REDNECKS.... dude is a fucking trip.

But we have to look out for one another.
