can you use the same mechman alt on different cars along as the sku is the same?

As long as the alt fits the vehicle, or you fab up your own there should be no problem. You also need to make sure its the same style plug, or make an adapter harness. Other then that an alt is an alt for the most part.

Guys at work wanted to argue that's its impossible to get ride of trunk rattle by sealing your trunk and that caps are better then a spare battery' and that "the forum I'm on must not know what they're talking about". Idiots.

This is what i do, If i give a demo i play a bass heavy track. Don't go full tilt, just play moderate. They will always start talking about caps. As soon as they start the sentence about caps, just crank the bass knob. Be like, "what? what? SPEAK UP, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

I had a taramps HD6500 and a CT 7k on a mech 270a, 3 d3100's and 1 s3400, and could drop to mid 12s. When it was just 2 d3100's, i was high 11s.
