    You know what the worst part is? If you took that head unit back to the place you bought it, explained the situation, they wouldn't even consider replacing it. They'd say that's not possible for you to detect that, or they stick it on their O-scope and see nothing (if they even have one). Just try to convince them that the DD-1 was made by some of the top guys in the industry, but they won't give a shit. And then you'd be out $1300 on that brand new head unit.

    All I can say is to run two Z v4s on that 3500. Not sure about woofer size in a trailblazer, someone else will be able to help you there. I would stay away from .5 ohm, not because of the "if you have to ask don't do it" but if you want more power, just get a bigger amplifier. You could damage the amplifier with low impedance like that, but I know that some people will disagree...

    I used to have a battery blanket it my old car, mainly because it had trouble starting in the winter and during night shifts it would sit outside in -35c. They don't get hot enough to damage the battery, other wise they wouldn't make them. Depending on how cold the temperature, you need to get a more powerful one. I had a 100w blanket. But then again, -35c is actually cold but something like -5c isn't that bad really.

      Body control module , I'm telling you look into it I remember hearing multiple times that the avalanche has bcm problems.

      It's definitely not the BCM, even though I know it is prone to problems. Truck ides really stupid so I took to a buddy who has a cheap scanner and pulled a P0307 which is a misfire in the #7 cylinder.

      Well to do the door yes you need to take the evaporator box out, and to do that the dash has to come out…. I just did the actuators on this one. Ive done a ton of actuators never any doors.

      99% of the time its just the actuator. What is your problem?

      Yeah I took the actuator out and it was fine. Turned the blend door knob and it still aint working
