  1. Whoever says there is patents being stepped on is wrong. These have been in the works in multiple designs since 2006. These were built 13 months ago for last years Autorama, but Will couldn't make it, so these were put away in the corner of the garage for a whole year, dust, spiders etc. The last 3 years we have tried multiple configurations to stay away from other patents. Even from the design shown, there are alot of improvements. This was the largest paired prototypes we built, and were not meant to last longer than some testing and to get some T/S and out put numbers, rebuild -redesign/start over again. Will being the bass head he is, loving big houses, big dogs, big subs, big amps, loving low numbers and high power, this concept going extreme in his ride matched his whole fortay- so perfect match! Bringing them to Autorama was to stir some shit and even get some pre orders if anyone is interested. The extreme model is going to be made in all aluminum basket, some lighter and stronger parts. The benefits of this design are a Dual linear Drive design, meaning there is two separate coils. One goes one way, one goes the other- like the old tree saws of the 1800s early 1900s two guys pushing and pulling on a 10ft saw to cut a massive redwood down. This helps with controlling motor force alot. When a typical motor/coil design loses motor strength at peak excursion and even gets sloppy, this sub has full control. Benefits are accurate brutal low end bass. Another benefit which may be obvious is cooling. The coils radiate heat away from the winding's That flower piece on the back serves two purposes, one happens to be a heat sink. So power handling is increased quite a bit After 6-7 years of being in the garage proto testing, it would be nice to get this design off and running if there is interest

  3. Not to butt in here, but after reading this entire thread, I've come to the conclusion you all should have a long time ago: He's smoking your money. File the disputes with PayPal. Then, you can escalate it to a full claim, though I think they can make you wait up to 7 days for him to reply; so the sooner you file, the better. Once Paypal finds he's a cheat, they will refund your monies - whether he has it or not. They will then go after him for the money, often just ripping it from the bank account he has attached to the paypal account. As someone who has done thousands of PayPal transactions, I highly recommend you follow though with this ASAP. Bear in mind, get all your documentation in order before setting up the dispute. You can attach files, as far as I've figured out, only BEFORE it escalates.

  4. freaky lookin subs man. its a great idea tho. i like how the voice "cylinder" passes through the magnet field but is attached at both ends. coil rub is almost impossible im sure. props for innovation!

  5. No, it's not the SMD....i see similarities but its on a whole different level. He actually attached a spider to the outside of the magnet and dropped another voice coil in from the back side. They actually sounded pretty DAMN good! They got low! Had some slapping sounds on some upper frequencies but overall they sound nice No matter what though it was DEFINITELY worth pics and i will put up a video of them a little later.

  6. Tyler, I spent four years in Jacksonville. I know lots of Marines at Cherry Point I also know a narcotics detective in Raleigh. Do we really want to screw people here?

  7. So how do we find out which kind our amplifiers are?
    2 points
  8. Yeah, I'm running twisted, when I should probably be running coax. I'm assuming AQ amps fall into the 75% category. Hopefully I won't have too much noise. Great video! wish it would have been up awhile ago lol yeah they do, I have been using twisted cables on mine without problems, but you could always have better.

  10. Thanks for the compliments fellas! Subs were excellent and held up well. People were treated to a very good demo before noon. Old batteries and stock electrical. I always do that! Can't help myself ....I like giving demo and meeting sq/bass heads more than competition. Before you know system is drained and two hours and 3 hours later its time to meter. I'll charge the batteries and post a vid of the system fresh. Thanks to ken/forevrbumpn. Sky's the limits. Steve, also a thanks for the kind words. Yes, smell a rebuild!

  15. See the bolt on the end that has the circle thing on it? That is glued to both coils and goes through the vents on the back sides. Then he has the coils wired in an isobaric configuration. So one coil has a rod pushing the other coil. Its genius if thats actualy how it works...

  16. how would recone process be completed on this? i'm trying to understand it's mechanical situation. does this have one long former with two coils on it? is the rear acting like some sort of bucking magnet system? just trying to get some clarity here

  18. Just received all my money back 8 minutes ago. Thanks for returning it Tyler.

  19. I haven't been on in a very long time. Everyone will be receiving their money back. The original issue was that the price to ship it was no where near the quotes I got online and it cost nearly as much to ship the items as what the 2 people payed for them. I didn't go about things the right way and I have no other excuse, but I will say I did not have any intentions of scamming anyone or keeping anything anyone bought, I just wanted to find a cheaper way to ship things. Let my flaming continue.

  26. And about 5 more tweets later still no reply. I really think that we could get him going if we start in on his conversations with those girls.
