They basically come charged BUT, it is recommended to top them off before install always. Sitting for a day on your step is nothing, it could have been sititng in storage for 6 months before even shipping to you, just saying. But yea, everyone tops them off before install. It is recommended as well

If anything add a alt even if you have to make custom bracket. but honestly watch your voltage with the 2 - 10k's because as stated you prolly don't have to do anything. thats a rather large batt. bank, lol

The distortion light would never come on fully to show distortion, just randomly flash when turning the gain and never at the same point. I could turn the gain all the way up with out the light fully coming on to show distortion same thing happened to me but might just not be enough voltage going to the amp. Also, as Steve said the light will come on and off while turning up the gain and NOT at the same point as YOU stated. Says that right in the manual. maybe i missed it but what equipment are you using? Line driver needed perhaps? You got the manual for the DD-1 correct?

Steve, How many inches of space do you have between your port and your hatch/doors on your Tahoe? I'm not sure if the older Tahoe's have slightly more depth in the rear or not but I run 4 15" and although I have tons of room width wise I really don't think I could fit 18's and still have room for port facing back. I would like to switch to 18's without doing a wall but I fear there just isn't room enough for it.

Win 7, Google Chrome, never on mobile, and home brew PC built for gaming and this site has always been a little slow for me and I constantly get the whole make a post but it doesn't show up thing however, lately I even get errors that prevent me from accessing the site. The error shows up ON this site, like it's the skin of the site but says it can't process my request right now. but for 2 days? Not sure if this site goes down for maintenance like others... Also, only recently, i have been getting an error on my search engine when trying to navigate through this site. Doesn't matter how long I have been on it, the error will pop a few times within minutes sometimes. Other days nothing. Not complaining, I'm not mad, just want it to be known to the right people that there are a couple potential issues so if something needs to be done about it the info is on the table. that is all. Two pages and two days ago. All these people with less than 10 posts guessing way too late. I propose a minimum 2 month membership tenure to be able to guess. Just my opinion though, which means absolutely nothing. or it's the same dude making multiple accounts and TRYING to be funny. I say close the thread sooner than later after each video is posted. Also, N8 can you track IP adresses of users here and we can find all these late guessing bastards?

they have these lights in rainbow crossovers. I remember there were crossovers that would light up like crazy in the early 2k's. Possibly these?
