    there is actually some truth in that..but another run will allow for less resistance..id add 1 more run of power and a dedicated ground from front---> rear batt bank

    before he dumps money on a battery he needs more runs of 0, he is trying to pull like 7000+watts (and a fuck ton of amps) thru 1 run.. He needs more runs regardless of his battery situation, or he will have voltage issues regardless IMO. and he can add as many runs as he likes but with that battery up front its only going to help so much... IMO he needs to do both

    if youre looking for a pair of 12's then 2 of the AQ sd 2.5's would be fit the bill..good subs had a pair they can take a beating

    only thing id look into is if they actually let you test on it.. or if its a 30 second run and thats it.. if they actually let you test 15 bucks is a damn good deal.. if not then it really wouldnt be worht it

    and most noise ordinance dont say anything about db levels they say a certain number of feet the cop cant be able to hear your music...doesnt matter the db level

    i honestly say give him the 48 hrs and then find another use for it... like n8 said a stand for something lol and to the guys saying "well hes already paid for it i wouldnt worry about it" are narrow minded and only looking at this through blinders... the box is now costing the builder space,time, and essential money.. ill damn near guarantee the guy coulda found the time to swing by and get the box and this whole situation coulda been avoided

    port loading off the hatch is usually loudest in blazers... so your buddy would be correct lol you could definately see a gain..but best would likely be subs ^^^ port back

    height=15 width=33 depth=21 port dimensions height=13.5 width= 4 length= 29 sub and port both facing the trunk with the port on the drivers side comes to a net volume of right at 3 cubes with a tuning of 35-36 hz...if someone wants to draw that up be my guess cant do it on this computer

    i used to back in high school..alot.. honestly cant remember what equipment i used if i go now i usually just borrow a ball and make it work lol average was around a 170 back then now its 150-155 depending how much im drinking

    ya i feel ya there man...honestly from the sounds of it youre more interesting ground pounding/ playing music and sounding good...spl doesnt equal loud it = you can put up a good number on the TL..which takes alot of testing, time, and usually a few different boxes...making a musical boxes can usually be done in one shot if you take your time

    something else you could try if you can find somebody with a spare piece of mdf is putting another face over the old one and recutting the holes...dont know if you can but itd work edit: and i agree with the post above mine about making them make it right...but if you fix it worse case scenario is recarpet it and then maybe sell it locally

    for spl you dont build around the sub...you build around the vehicle...never mind i seen the vehicle..but for spl you need to work on finding your resonent and work from there with testing, port placement, sub placement etc.

    if youre only going to run 2k on the pair the copper coils will be perfectly fine
