Comments like this make it impossible for people to learn. When someone is given scientific evidence that what they are saying is not true, they keep spewing trash out of their mouths, blaming cheating and lying on the testers part, it infects others around them. THink I already killed my 8...Guess I didn't have the two pieces of speaker wire seated completely in the push terminal..one fell out yesterday and I was giving 900wrms to one coil on a two hour drive...OUCH...it has a weird rattle now
Im going to dmm the coils later.-
Or maybe something hit the wire yesterday since I mounted the sub inverted...anyways probably gonna have to recone...

this is why i always try to wire down. That way if i lose a wire for some dumb reason i don't go throwing 1.21 jigawatts to one coil.

I was wired to 1ohm..lol but thats about 650wrms a coil and it was close to its limit on that. I'm going to get a d4 coil and wire to 2ohm so 900 on BOTH coils instead of one lol

Officially a Navy Future sailor now, and have my contract for Nuke and my bonus...feels good to be at this point. Official ship date is March 11, but my recruiter is going to submit some paperwork so I can "roll-in" sooner.

Ok so ordered 3 pac.LC.1's for my build. Good things to come from it hopefully. Control of highs/mids/sub seperately without diving into the eq everytime...plus the PPI knob is ugly imo.

Is there anything like the PAC LC1 but with two or three knobs and 2/3 sets rca in/out on it?

I'd have my mids and highs separate, so in case the tweeters over power the mids, I can turn it down

I've thought about this as well. Sometimes highs just get too harsh and I'd love to turn mine down.

Yeah, I have 2way active dealio and want the front two channels on one knob, rear on another, and sub on a third. Was hoping there was was one with 2/3 integrated into a single unit. I will buy three and build a little faceplate to clean it up.

What about bending a small needle in a u shape and then stiching it? I have small hands I could probably do it..I think i could even on a stand 12spoke frame 10...especially with some pliars..I think its pheasable. -
