with your lack of space if you want to go ported you might oughta do a couple e8v3's. you have enough depth for them as they're less than 5" deep, and you would probably have more output with them ported rather than the 2 sd-12's sealed.

yes i would be considered a Sundown nuthugger, but this sub is a piece of art. nice job and im sure finished product will not let anyone down

Both are very solid amplifiers, and the SK-4500.1D is run by MANY customers at 0.5Ohms, however we just can't warranty the amp at that ohm load. That is not to say at all that it will not handle daily running at that impedance, again - many customers choose to do it and have had great success. I am pretty sure the Sundown is not warrantied below 1 Ohm either. I think the SK-4500.1 will be nice on your matching Skar ZVX woofers :-) -Kevin

I think you are talking about the carbon Kevlar dust caps and they are available in all sizes but I think the carbon fiber cones are still in the works im talking about the dust caps on the 8'' subs i like those, they would look cool on a 18'' sub maybe ?>.... i know another companys have them

eh lvl 5 15 dual 1.4 powered with a crescendo bc3500 @ 0.7ohm before rise(still wants MOAR) next update will be when i get the second 15 in with another bc3500 and few more d3100s.
