A little bulge on these is fine since I have had 20 different XS power batts in the past 2+ years and they have a *tiny* bulge to them it seems. I have even heard some hissing before (not very loud at all) i guess not really hissing as much as gurgling...I forget what Snowdrifter told me though, maybe ask him? Oh, and yea, generally not normal. Hook a DMM up to it and watch it like a hawk!
