I hate it when people get so wound up about the "right" and the "wrong" way to do it. It's audio. The whole reason we are doing it is for the fun. Are there better and worse ways of doing it? Yes. Unless it's an actual safety issue there's no reason to get bent out of shape. It's all for FUN

Can already tell a difference with the new hardware on the cap bank. Voltage doesn't "jump" as much on startup

While my methods may be strange, disagreeable, and warranty voiding, there's no denying that they work. Load tested the D1400 today. Performs better than day 1. Tested 13.54v w/ a 144 amp load test compared to 13.2 with a 139 amp load test. Sweeet

Gotcha. For an AGM battery you'll want a float charge around 13.4-13.5. 14 is a bit high IMO

It's a Monro Muffler and Brake attached to a BJ's store (similar store to Costco). I work in the Monro building but am employed by BJ's. The majority of the day we just watch movies and eat lol

In many states you dont have to show the owner/deadbeat any proof. Just hook and book. I know a guy that does it in another city 3 hours from me. Also Gary Killian does it too.
But yea all the shows on TV are pretty fake..
Acting like they got people shooting guns at them, and throwing flaming bottles, starting cars on fire.... Yea if that was real you know damn well that repo guy would be on the phone with the pd.

are you pretty good at just ear tuning your shit I went and picked up the dd1 and the cc1 they are very handy especially when im building 6th and 8th band pass boxes

Tuning gains on mids/highs? Yeah not an issue. I don't even use a dd-1 for that since I can hear 1kHz distorting before the dd-1 ever picks it up lol. Sub amp? No way. I live and die by the dd-1 when it comes to setting that up.
And I'm not talking about tuning the amp, I'm referring to tuning the box

I seem to be finding various uses for multi turn potentiometers lately. Anyways... My VM-1, Stinger meter, and multi meter now all read within 3/100 of a volt of eachother

Because, once again, multi turn > single turn. The stinger meter is pretty jumpy lol

hell ya, when static, a digital read out is great. It's when you are bumping that they suck ass. Make a video with some good voltage drop, and all 3, ill send you $5 paypal.

What's with the rentamods? If someone makes a vs. thread people chime in to try and enforce one rule, but in doing so ignore another.
