I've decided on buying a Fi Q 15, I just need help on finding an amp that would be best suited for it. I have a Treo amp that pushes 1000 watts that i'll use to break it in.

Hey errrrrbody. I am very close to locally purchasing a ZX350.4 for my first mids & highs amp for a great price in my city up here in Canada. the reason the deal is good is because the amp is supposedly not working properly. What the seller has said in his ad, and as well as through text messages is that it "Works great but won't turn off. The technician said the FAT must have been fried (whatever that means) other than that it still works." and.. "it turns on the moment you hook it up to the battery but it won't shut off even with the car turned off. It was bought brand new but I just shorted it when I installed it." Has anyone ever dealt with a problem like this? Is it repairable? I personal had my bass amp repaired at some circuit board repair company in town so that may be an option for me as well. Please advise!!!

I'm adding another amp to my car, i have a zx1000.1 mono for the subs already and im adding the dx400.4 for the speakers. Should i expect a voltage drop, and if so how sufficient will it be? Right now with only the mono i have about 14.4-.7 volts on average when everything is running and turned up. I have an 01 cadillac deville which already has some stock beefy wiring to it. Stock electrical wiring, but I will add another battery as my next upgrade. What can I expect voltage wise when i add the second amp? Thanks

What is a good four channel amp with good sound quality with around 100-130 RMS at 4 ohms? I would like to stay in the $250 to $300 price range if possible, but something less expensive than that would definitely a plus lol. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated!

Currently I have the Hifonics amp. I am expecting two new Skar VVX 12's tomorrow. I am wondering which amp out of the two would be a better match for the subs, with sound quality and spl in mind. What would the pros and cons of either amp be for this setup or similar ones? I'm asking this, because I am selling one of my old type-r's on craigslist, and I have someone that wants to trade the p1000 for my type-r. This made me wonder if this amp would be a better option for me, or if I should just hold out for cash and either keep the Hifonics or save up for an even more powerful and better amp like an AQ 2200 or similar. I don't mean to start a vs. thread, because it seems like they are rather disliked on this and any other forum. I'm just looking for opinions from others with more experience than I have. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

hey guys i just got a new car and sadly decided to go from my dc xl 18 to 2 12 inch DC lvl4 m2. i have read goood things about these so i am staying positive lol. my question for you guys is what amp would you recommend? i have and AQ 2200d. would i be good running this? Or should i upgrade to an AQ3500 or DC 3.5k any help would be great thanks!

My original plan is that Im looking to get rid of my two 10' alpines and my one 10' JL because it makes no sense....i want to put a new system in but can not conclude on what would be the best option for my car. As of now the bass level and quality that is being produced from the three 10's is alright but could be better. Also when the volume is turned up it seems clarity from the door speakers just drops and does not sound clean. My goal: 1) clean up my bass levels and make some space because the 3 subs make there no room in my trunk and i also am not a fan two different brands of subs at once. doesn't sound right. 2) clarify and clean up overall sound quality that i believe is mainly coming from door speakers, want to have cleaner lows and brighter mids-highs. My car: 2008 Infiniti G35x 4 Door Sedan with factory head unit. So here are my options that some guys and i have thought of so far.... 1) get rid of or keep the 10' JL, keep the two Alpines and look into the rockford 3sixty.3 2) get rid of or keep the 10' JL, Keep the two Alpines and look to buy aftermarket 6.5 door speakers. (was looking at these just as a possibility... http://www.wooferset...components.aspx ) 3) Get rid of all three subs and get rid of the 2 amps and either: a- Get two DC lvl3 12's with DC 2.0K b- Get two DC lvl3 12's with DC 3.5K -What are your guys thoughts to this? i am honestly open to any options and ideas that you think would work best in my car. these were just some options some guys and i were thinking about for only an hour so let me know what you think. thanks -if theres anything else that you think i should add/drop let me know
